 𝗠𝗔𝗗𝗔𝗠𝗘 – Oslo\, Norway\nComing all the way from Oslo\,
Norway\, Mayflower Madame have established themselves as one of the most
distinctive bands in the European post-punk and psych-gaze scene.\nTheir u
nmistakable sound combines pulsating post-punk\, shimmering shoegaze and a
tmospheric psych-noir\, creating a captivating musical universe filled wit
h haunting melodies\, hypnotic rhythms\, dreamy melancholy and dark romant
icism.\nWith their debut album Observed in a Dream (2016)\, Mayflower Mada
me quickly attracted international attention and embarked on tours through
out Europe and North America. Their second album\, Prepared for a Nightmar
e (2020)\, further established their reputation for combining the darker e
lements of 1980s post-punk with psychedelic textures and an unmistakably c
ontemporary sound.\nIn November 2024\, the band released their highly accl
aimed third album\, Insight\, mixed and mastered by Maurizio Baggio\, know
n for his work with The Soft Moon\, Boy Harsher and The Vacant Lots.\nAcro
ss nine beautifully crafted songs\, Insight takes listeners on a hypnotic
journey through darkness and melancholy\, while remaining remarkably melod
ic\, dynamic and compelling. The album received widespread critical acclai
m and international radio support\, further strengthening the band's reput
ation well beyond their Norwegian home.\nIn 2026\, Mayflower Madame expand
ed this musical journey with a Deluxe Version of Insight\, featuring previ
ously unreleased material.\nRenowned for their intense and atmospheric liv
e performances\, the band have captivated audiences across numerous countr
ies\, bringing their distinctive combination of hypnotic energy and emotio
nal depth to stages throughout Europe and beyond.\nMayflower Madame are:\n
 Trond Fagernes – Vocals / Guitar\nRune Øverby – Guitar\nPetter G. Mar
 berg – Bass\nOla J. Kyrkjeeide – Drums\nAnd there is a very personal r
eason why we are particularly delighted to welcome Mayflower Madame to our
10th anniversary edition. 🖤\nWhen our festival organiser Thomas first
experienced Mayflower Madame live at Der Schwarze Ball in Zürich in Novem
ber 2025\, their performance left him deeply moved and completely won over
. For him\, the four Norwegians were the absolute musical highlight of the
evening.\nAn exceptionally warm and heartfelt conversation with the band
immediately after their concert eventually led to something very special:
the opportunity to welcome Mayflower Madame to our anniversary festival.\n
Keeping this wonderful secret for almost an entire year certainly wasn't e
asy! ❤️🖤\nWe are therefore absolutely delighted that Mayflower Mada
me will be part of our Sounds from the Heart Festival 2027 – 10th Annive
rsary Edition\, and we can hardly wait to experience their extraordinary m
usic together with all of you in the Big Hall / Grosser Saal at Dynamo Zü
rich! 💘\nMore bands and surprises to be announced!\nAs always\, every b
and at Sounds from the Heart is carefully selected for both their music an
d the wonderful people behind it.\nThere are no support acts at our festiv
al. Every band deserves its place on the big stage\, and every band is a h
eadliner in its own right. 🖤\nFor our 10th anniversary\, we are also pl
anning a few additional surprises to make the festival experience even mor
 e memorable.\nSounds from the Heart Festival 2027 – 10th Anniversary Edi
